Charlotte Marie Johnson Feazel, age 85 of Seguin, peacefully passed away to be with the Lord on March 15, 2024.  Charlotte was born on July 1, 1938, in Houston, Texas to Virginia Marie (Ferguson) and Robert Bingham Johnson.

Charlotte is preceded in death by her first love and father of their children Jimmy Jack Smith, second love of 35 years Larry "Smiley" Feazel, brother Robert Bingham Johnson Jr., and her parents.

Survivors include her son Jimmy Smith Jr. and wife Carol of Seguin, daughter Karen Vogel and husband Harvey of Sweeny, and son Robert Smith and wife Annette of Seguin; grandchildren, Jessica McCarter and husband John, Andrea Salinas and husband Jason, Ty Smith and wife Brittany, Zachary Vogel and wife Suzanne, Rachel Coleman and husband Noah, Michelle Smith, Travis Smith and wife Kathrin; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.

Raised in Seguin, Texas, Charlotte graduated from Seguin High School and embarked on a journey filled with love, resilience, and cherished memories. She was married to the father of her three beloved children for seven years before his passing. Charlotte devoted herself to raising her children in Seguin while also contributing her talents to Seguin Milling Company for many years.

Charlotte found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a passion for crafts, particularly enjoying paint by numbers, and found peace in tending to her garden.

In 1978, Charlotte found love again when she married Larry "Smiley" Feazel. Together, they shared a deep affection for horses, western movies, and the excitement of rodeos. Their shared passions brought them closer together, and they enjoyed 25 years of retirement on a peaceful farm in DeKalb, Texas.

One of Charlotte's greatest joys was welcoming her grandchildren to the farm, where she showered them with love and created lasting memories.

Charlotte Smith Feazel will be remembered for her love for her family. She leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love that will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

A funeral service celebrating Charlotte's life will be held on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 10 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Pastor Victor Ledet officiating.  Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery in Gonzales County.  A reception will be announced.

Pallbearers will be John McCarter, Jason Salinas, Nathaniel Salinas, Ty Smith, Zachary Vogel, Travis Smith, and Jacy Robbins.
