Charlotte Rutter, age 58 of Stockdale, passed away on November 13, 2010. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 18, 2010 from 11a.m. to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 19, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs with Pastor Frank Pomeroy officiating. Interment will follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Charlotte was born on May 13, 1952 in Torrance California to Everett Verne and Lucille Hunsaker Fullenwider. She is preceded in death by her brothers, Roger and Charles Fullenwider. Survivors include her husband of 20 years Dane Rutter of Stockdale; parents, Verne and Lucille of Stockdale; son, Roger Elkins II and wife Bobbie Jo of Ft. Hood; daughters, Michelle Elkins Postert and husband Rick of Stockdale and Shannon Elkins Thome and husband Joe of Elko, NV; son, Johnathan Rutter of Galveston; grandkids, Courtney and Joshua Cowey of Stockdale, Michael and Colton Elkins of Marion, Christofer Virgin and wife Stacy of Ft. Hood, Joshua Virgin of Huachuka, AZ, Kenny Vickers and wife Vannessa of Ft. Hood, Corey and Sydney Vickers of Ft. Hood and Jeffery Anderson of Ft. Hood; God daughter, Ashley Ruffcorn of Graham; nephew Roger Fullenwider Rhoads of San Antonio and numerous other family members.
