Chelsey Renee Eckols, age 28 of New Braunfels, passed away on March 27, 2022.  Chelsey was born on November 13, 1993 in Seguin, Texas to Donna Lynn Eckols and Alex Chavera Martinez.

She is preceded in death by her son Brenton Alexander Eckols, her father, grandmothers, Joyce Brown and Ana Maria Martinez, grandfather, Auturo Martinez Sr. and uncles, Arnold Martinez Sr. and Samuel Martinez.

Survivors include her mother, Donna Eckols; children, Braye'lan Hasting and Bryson Eckols; her sisters; Pamela Kessler, Alexis Martinez and Alessandra Martinez; aunts, Jo Ann Eckols, Belinda Martinez, and Cynthia Martinez; uncles, Jesse Eckols, Auturo Martinez Jr., Michael Martinez, and numerous cousins, other loving family members and friends.

Chelsey Renee lived her life to the fullest and will be missed by all her family and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 10 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with the Rev. Tom Jones officiating.  Interment will follow in the Kingsbury Cemetery in Kingsbury, Texas. Serving as pallbearers will be Cesar Mercado, Kasi Garcia, Arnold Martinez Jr., Christian Martinez, Mariah Martinez and Ruben Martinez.
