Christa "Chrissy" Koenig

Christa “Chrissy” Ruth Fohn Koenig, age 73 of Seguin, passed away on September 9, 2026. Chrissy was born on February 11, 1953, in Austin, Texas to Bertha (Young) and Horace Fohn.

Chrissy is preceded in death by her son, Drew Zachary Koenig, her parents, her brothers, Larry Fohn and wife Cherry, and Kenneth Fohn and wife Glenna, and her sister, Gwendolyn Fohn Till and husband Felix, brother-in-law, David Fiebrich,  and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Juanita and Fred Koenig.

Survivors include her loving husband of 53 years James “Jim” Koenig; her children, Brittany Hanna and husband John, and Josh Koenig and wife Amy; grandchildren, Hudson, Cortland, and Berkeley Hanna, and Jacob and Jase Koenig; her sister, Elberta Fiebrich; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and a host of friends.
