Christopher (Chris) William Stuart Lange was born December 25, 1967 in Seguin, Texas. Chris left his family and friends on Wednesday, October 14th at the young age of 47. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at 3 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church with Rev. Marcus Bigott officiating. His ashes will be placed in the Faith Lutheran Church Columbarium at a later date. A BBQ reception will follow directly after the service in the LEC. Chris was a resident of Seguin, Texas and graduated from Seguin High School in 1986. He attended the University of Texas and Southwest Texas, and worked for Berridge Manufacturing Company and was a ranch manager for various ranches in the South Texas area. Chris also owned a deer feed company, Drop Tine. He loved spending time with his family, BBQ, hunting, fishing, football, and most of all baseball. He is preceded in death by his father, Pastor Bill Lange and brother-in-law Brett Bird. He is survived by his wife, Nikki Lange; two boys, Grayson and Cade; his mother Johanna Lange; his sister Debbie Tucker and husband Jeff; brother Scott Lange and wife Tina White; father and mother- in- law Ron and Cindy Bird; brother-in law Derek Bird and wife Amy. Chris was an uncle to numerous nieces and nephews including Kristen Bigott and husband Marcus, Courtney Eldridge, Garrett Eldridge, Kale Lange, Koby Lange, and Tyler Bird. Serving as pallbearers will be John Kuempel, Jon Ullrich, Quinn Koehler, Bubba Eckhardt, Mark Westerholm, John Nash, Darrell Harborth, Phil Wuest, and Tim Patek. Honorary pallbearers are Coach Mike Hernandez, Coach Jeff Bell, Coach Patrick Trevino, and the Spartans Select Baseball Team. Chris was a life time member of Faith Lutheran Church and on the BBQ Committee, as well as GBN and Spartan Family.
