Christopher Lee Ticer, age 60 of Seguin, passed away on November 13, 2022.  Chris was born on June 26, 1962 in Harlingen, Texas to Sharon Kay Reeder Sandlin and Adron Hughey Ticer.

He is preceded in death by his father, Adron Ticer and his step-father Jack Sandlin.

Survivors include his mother, Kay Sandlin; children, Christopher Lee Ticer II (Courtney), Beverly Ticer Loftus (Darrell), Tiffany Ticer (Tyrel Santiago), and Macy Stiles; his siblings, Trea Schmidt (Brian), Denise Wood (Brent), Theresa Gonzalez and Keith Babineaux (Karen); eleven grandchildren; seven nieces and nephews; special friend, Mama Janet Hoffman; as well as numerous other loving family members and many friends.

Chris was a tried and true outdoorsman as well as a cowboy at heart. He could skin a buck and run a trot line better than the rest! He rode in 69 rodeos, was a damn good cook, and one fine woodworker. Chris enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking and watching his favorite teams, Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns. He is a true Texas testament, serving his life to the Lord and love to his family.  He was a devoted father, son, brother and grandpa. He was loved by many and Pops to numerous. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will begin on Saturday, November 26, 2022 at 9 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel followed by funeral service at 10 a.m. with the Rev. Jeremy Roy officiating.  Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Mark Green, Donnie Weatherford, Forrest Hargrove, Tim Thomas, Tom King and JP Bryant. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Danny McCoy and Reginald Woodley.
