Clara Elaine Kluth Brownfield, age 84 of Seguin, passed away on February 26, 2024.  Clara was born in Zorn, Texas on July 15, 1939, to Norma (Stautzenberger) and Erwin Kluth.

Clara is preceded in death by her parents, great-great-granddaughter, Salem Violet Stewart, sister, Joyce Koepsel, baby brother, and her former husband, Floyd Brownfield.

Survivors include her daughter, Veleda Harley and husband, Rick; son, Robert Brownfield, and wife Ree; grandchildren, Kristin, Stephanie and husband Trevor, Samantha and husband Nick, Kasey, and husband Jesse, Petra and husband Brian, Kendan and wife Alyssa, Amber, Heaven, Joel, Bryan, and Erin; great-grandchildren, Kadin and husband Alex, Shane, Ian, Leighla, Brennan, Karter, Krymzyn, Trystyn, Korbyn, Xyler, Xayne, Xeppelyn, Jace, Aaron, Ryleigh and Wyatt; great-great-grandchild, Carissa; sisters, Frances Altherr, and Virginia Friesenhahn and husband Lawrence; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and many friends.

A memorial service celebrating Clara's life will be held on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Chaplain Emanuel Carpenter officiating.  Private interment will be held at a later date in San Geronimo Cemetery.
