Clara Joy Hannah, age 92 of New Braunfels, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025. Joy was born on October 25, 1932 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Virginia (Zuecher) and William Hickey.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, LTC Harold E. Hannah USAF (Ret.) and her parents.

Survivors include her children, Belinda Joy Tortorice, Terri Lynn Elliott and Mark Edward Hannah and his wife, Genet and children Steve, and Justin and wife Nat; grandchildren, Brandon Lee Elliott and wife Angela, Amanda Michelle Elliott Patterson and husband Joey, and Kristin Elizabeth Elliott Gann and husband Garret; great-grandchildren, Grace Ann Nelson-Gann, Paisley Elizabeth Gann, and Nicholas Lee Patterson; sister, Sally Eckhoff and husband Lynn; as well as several nieces, nephews other loving family members and friends.

Graveside services and interment will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025 at 10:30 a.m. at the Nockenut Cemetery, between Stockdale and Nixon, with the Reverend Tom Jones officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
