Clarence "Lyn" Davis, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2022.  Clarence was born August 21, 1937 in Patetown, North Carolina to Doyle Chester and Ruby Lee (Bedford) Davis.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janice Davis; mother of their children, Barbara (Wernette) Davis; brothers, Chester Rosell, Loyd Edward, Roma Charles, Donald Eugene, Vernon Lee and Billie Carroll Davis; sisters, Ruby Ellen Tart, Brenda Alice Cosgrove; step-children, Karyl Browning and Tommy Williams, Jr.

He is survived by a son, Stephen Lynn Davis; daughter, Lauri D. Ivey; brother, Duane Johnnie Davis; grandsons, Stephen Baker, Jr. (Veronica), Bradley Baker and Andrew Ivey, step-grandson, Zach Williams (Jessica), 8 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Clarence was raised in North Carolina and entered the Airforce at the age of 17 and served 20 years. He was stationed in Turkey, Iceland, New Mexico and later retired from Randolph Air Force Base in Schertz, Texas. He moved to Seguin in 1972 and pursued pig farming and enjoyed horse training and racing, producing some winners. He loved the closeness of family and shared his property with his children and grandchildren throughout his life.
