Claudette Barnett, age 74 of Tyler, passed away on August 28, 2010. Graveside services and interment will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kingsbury Cemetery in Kingsbury, Texas with Deacon Blake Cabano officiating. Claudette was born on November 9, 1935 in Bomarton, Texas to William Claud and Erma Fay Barnett Allen. Her parents preceded her in death as did her sisters, Ruth Harborth, Bonnie Allen and Lovie Woerndell and her brothers, Edsel Allen and Witzel Allen. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, William "Bill" Barnett; son, Roger Barnett; daughter, Deana Dickson and husband Jerry; sisters, Beatrice Yeats and life partner Al Barnett and Vida Whittaker and husband Bill; brother, Johnny Allen and wife Marilyn; 6 grandkids; 5 great-grandkids; numerous nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Matthew Dickson, Mark Dickson, Justin Dickson, Jared Dickson, David Traister and Donnie Barnett. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice organization of one's choice.
