Clement "Dick" Richard Richter

Clement “Dick” Richard Richter, age 83 of Seguin, passed away on March 5, 2026. Dick was born on July 9, 1942, in Eagle Lake, Texas to Florence Faye (Konesheck) and Clement Leo Richter.

Dick was a 1960 graduate of Eagle Lake High School. He attended Wharton County Junior College and received his associate’s degree in agriculture. He then trained and studied to become an Antiques Auctioneer. He served in antique auctions throughout Southeast Texas. Later settling in Seguin, he and JaNene built a barn to hold the auctions. In retirement Dick enjoyed watching westerns where he fondly remembered meeting Roy Rogers several times. Many good times were spent playing cards with family and friends.

Dick is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, JaNene A. Richter; children, Krystal Richter, Russell Richter and wife Dianna, and Timothy A. Richter and wife Laura; grandchildren who knew and loved him as “Uncle Honey”, Skylair Richter and wife Kalyn, Nicole Limrick and husband Jake, Amy Richter, Ethan Richter, and Emily Jones and wife Rae; great-grandchildren, Briden, Ryker, Guinevere, Temperance and Theodore; sister, Karen Richter; sisters-in-law, Tulie Joen Alvarado and husband Armando, and JaNeille Etheridge; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and a host of friends.

Services are pending in Chesterville, Texas. Please check back for service times and location.
