Clyde Lincoln Dotson, "Buddy" 90 years of Seguin, Texas passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2024. He was born in Blanco, Texas on February 12, 1934 to Pat and Annie Bell (DeLoach) Dotson. He was married to his loving wife Elizabeth "Gladys" Brown Dotson until her passing on February 18, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pat & Annie Bell Deloach Dotson and his wife, Elizabeth Gladys "Brown" Dotson.

He was also preceded in death by his brothers Henry Dotson, Vernon Dotson, L.M. Dotson and Dick Dotson. As well as his sisters Nina Steffens, Edna Row and Shirley Albers.

Buddy retired after many years from Seguin ISD Maintenance. But his hardworking nature and drive to do better led him to many other side jobs. He was a farmer/rancher, he always had many animals around-especially those darn chickens. But he loved working horses and cows the most.

Survivors include his daughter, Amy Hawkins and husband Steve and daughter Stacy Dill; Grandchildren, Stephen Hawkins, Hannah Hawkins, Alyssa Dill, Kayla Dill and Brady Dill as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 30, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingsbury Cemetery with the Rev. Tom Jones officiating.
