Clyde D. Parson, age 67 of Seguin, passed away on November 16, 2016. Graveside services with military honors will be conducted on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 10:15 a.m. at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with Rev. Terry Davis officiating. Clyde was born on September 26, 1949 in Pineset, Arkansas to Clyde Dillard and Alma Ruth (Ingle) Parson. Clyde served his country honorably in the United States Army, and after his tour of duty, worked in quality control for the steel industry. This led Clyde and his family to travel and live in many states throughout the US, eventually retiring here in Seguin. He is preceded in death by his first wife, Gail Parson, and his father, Clyde Dillard Parson. Clyde is survived by his loving wife, Janette Melton Parson; sons, Darell Parson and wife, Linda, David Parson and wife, Lana; daughter, Rebecca Crow and husband, Cobey; mother, Alma Ingle Parson; grandchildren, Abigail Castillo, Olivia Castillo, Guy Crow, Lexy Crow, Holly Parson, Ashley Parson; sisters, Jan Seal, Barbara Hall, Fay Sherrill, Mary Osborn; step-children, Amy Bustos, Tammy Wicker, Ronny Shewbirt, Jr.; step-grandchildren, Amanda Love, Skylar Gaines, Hannah Vermillion, Darell Vermillion, Alex Barr; step-great-grandchildren, Isaac, Cadence, Zoey, Jonah Love, as well as other loving family members and a host of friends.
