Clyde F. Scott, USN (Ret.) age 86 of Seguin, formerly of New Braunfels and San Antonio, passed away on December 4, 2011. Graveside services and interment with militry honors will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park in San Antonio, Texas with Rev. James Lee Hime officiating. Clyde was born on March 21, 1925 in Somerset Texas to Frank James and Daisy Mae Hime Scott. He proudly served his country during World War II as a Fighting Seabee in the United States Navy. After retiring from the Navy he worked for the United States Postal Service until he retired. He also worked for the New Braunfels Herald Zeitung for twenty years. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Floyd and Eugene Scott and his great-granddaughter, Addison Fox. Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Katrina F. Scott; sons, Clyde W. (Bill) Scott and wife Ellan, and Harold J. Scott and wife Cecilia; daughter, Tina Marie Scott; grandchildren, Joshua Scott, Tabitha Ellan Scott and husband Robert Parkhurst, Kyle Scott and wife Alexis, Denton Scott, Cheryl Fox and husband Michael, Jennifer Ferrell and husband John, and Jaime Ranft and husband Jason; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Jimmie Kersey and Doris Elaine Garner; several nieces and nephews.
