On May 31, 2013 God called his son Collin Ashton Jimenez to be with him in Heaven. Collin was born to Christine Mead and Frank Jimenez on March 3, 1994 in Seguin. He is survived by his mother, Christine Mead; father, Frank Jimenez and wife Lisa; sister, Michelle Jimenez; brothers, Trent Oatman and Tanner Kelsey; the love of his life, Casey Sturm; step-grandparents, James and Linda Kelsey; the loving Mead and loving Jimenez families and many loving friends. Collin was a beautiful soul and every one who met him loved him and loved his sense of humor. Our son was the light and love of our lives. He loved fishing, his friends, family and especially singing and playing guitar. He loved his reptiles, snakes etc. His dream was to finish college, pursue music, marry Casey and have lots of babies. Collin was a 2012 graduate of Seguin High School. Our time with this beautiful man was cut short very suddenly. Our son is in heaven with our God singing with the Angels. We Love you Collin and we will always have you in our hearts. Visitation will be held at Tres Hewell Mortuary, Tuesday, June 4, 2013 from 2:30 to 5:30 p.m. The recitation of the rosary will be held at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Deacon Nick Carrillo officiating. A procession will depart Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. for the mass of Christian burial at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Taylor Sekula, Michael Gonzales, Lorenzo Pardo, Hector Varela, Grant Coleman, Phillip Imhoff, Tyler Rigney and Colton Truelock. For those who would like to make contributions in Collin's memory, a scholarship will be set up in his honor at Seguin High School.
