Daniel "Danny" R. Davila, age 70 of Seguin, passed away on August 19, 2024.  Daniel was born on September 1, 1953 in Seguin, Texas to Antonia (Rebilla) and Jose Davila.

Danny will be remembered as a 45-year employee of SMI (now CMC).

Daniel is preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Angel Rodriguez, his granddaughter, Sulema Davila, his parents and his siblings, Ismael Davila, Frank Tagle, Joe Davila, Lupe Bentacourt, and Josie Tristan.

Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Estella G. Davila; son, Daniel I. Davila; brothers, Matias Davila, Manuel Davila and wife Linda, and Reynaldo Davila and wife Teressa; sisters, Ester Davila, Minerva Nieto and husband Bobby; Oralia and Ted Johnson, Felicitas Banda, Consuelo Coronado, and Dominga Tristan; thirteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and many friends.

Visitation will begin on Monday, August 26, 2024 at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel at 5 p.m. followed by the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 p.m.  A procession will depart Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel on Tuesday, August 27, 2024 at 10 a.m. for the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel Davila, Jr., Gerome Gil, Manuel Cano, Juan Rodriguez, Jonathan Davila and Dan Garcia.
