Seguin, TX-- Darin Lee Pitchford, 48, of Watertown, SD, passed away unexpectedly on Monday June 24, 2019 surrounded by loved ones.
Darin was born on April 30, 1971 in Watertown, SD, the son of Nancy Pitchford (Gould) of Watertown, SD and Marvin Pitchford of Sioux Falls, SD. Darin was employed at Travel Centers of America, TA, for 21 years. He enjoyed all things sports, with the Chicago Cubs being his favorite team. Besides following sports year-round and working at TA, he enjoyed spending time with family members and loving on his dogs, Shorty, Aiden, Sandy and Ash.
He is survived by his wife Christie Olsen; his only son Curtis Pitchford and daughter-in-law Katie Pitchford and his two beautiful grand-daughters Julia and Clara; four step-children, Robert, Melanie, Stephanie, and Shawn Olsen; five step-grandchildren, Malakai, Navaeh, Ryker, Jesse, and Gavin; two sisters, Darci Carden and Jodi Conner; and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father, Marvin Pitchford; brother, Todd Pitchford; and grandparents Mabel and George Pitchford.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 9am to 12pm at Petro Iron Skillet Restaurant Conference Room, 1112 Ackerman Road, San Antonio, TX 78219.
