Darwin "Butch" Henry Heidemeyer, Jr., age 56 of Seguin, passed away on March 28, 2011. Memorial service will be held Friday April 1, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Christian Fellowship Baptist Church, 926 8th Street, Seguin, Texas, 78155 with Pastor Leon Morris officiating. "Butch" was born on July 11, 1954 in National City, California to Darwin Henry, Sr. and Barbara Mae Sewell Heidemeyer. He proudly served his country by serving in the United States Air Force. He will be remembered as a long time employee of CMC Steel. He enjoyed his family, fishing and caring for animals. He had a strong faith and he claimed Jesus as his Lord and Savior. Survivors include his children, Joshua Heidemeyer and partner Terri, Eric Heidemeyer and partner Nita, Cheryl Ann Heidemeyer, Jerry ray Oliver, Kristin Heidemeyer, Trey Heidemeyer and wife Breanna; Deonna Heidemeyer and Shonna Heidemeyer; parents, Darwin and Barbara Heidemeyer; brother, Russell Heidemeyer; sister, Rochelle Hesseltine and husband Richard; former spouses and mothers of his children, Kimberly Ann Heidemeyer and Donna Heidemeyer; six grandchildren and two on the way; numerous other loving family members and friends. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Guadalupe County Humane Society or to the Christian Fellowship Baptist Church, 926 8th Street, Seguin, Texas, 78155.
