David "Rex" Acker a father, grandfather and friend, passed away peacefully on March 14, 2025, surrounded by his family at his ranch in Seguin, Texas. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Rex dedicated his life to the trucking industry, a career that not only fueled his passion for business but also enabled him to provide numerous opportunities for countless individuals. His work ethic, leadership and commitment to his profession were unmatched.

Beyond his career, Rex found immense joy in his time spent at his ranch, where he nurtured a thriving population of whitetail deer and shared his passion for the outdoors through guided hunts. The ranch was a sanctuary for Rex, a place where he could embrace nature and create lasting memories with his family and friends.

A family memorial will be held in honor of Rex on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the Diamond A Ranch in Seguin, Texas. Friends of Rex are encouraged to share pictures and stories to the email address:
