David Wayne Morrison, age 60 of Seguin, passed away on April 4, 2011. Visitation will begin on Thursday, April 7, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary followed by a celebration of life service at 11:00 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Kevin Dellaria officiating. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church with Rev. Kevin Dellaria officiating. Inurnment will follow in the St. Andrew's Episcopal Church Columbarium. A reception will follow in McKeough Hall. David was born on June 24, 1950 to Eston William and Olga Marie Prokop Morrison. He was a graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word. He taught high school English and Art and Gifted and Talented Students. He will be remembered for his stained glass work and music. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Larry Morrison. Survivors include his life partner, Kevin John McCormack; sister, Barbara Emily Freasier; brother, Bobby Morrison; cousin, Dolly Simeroth; eight nieces and nephews; fifteen great nieces and nephews; students and friends uncountable. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Kevin McCormack, Michael Freasier, Richard Freasier, Wayne Freasier, Joe Ashcraft and Mark Shoemaker.
