David Alejandro (Cheesy) Ramirez, age 46 of Seguin, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022. David was born on October 15, 1975 in Seguin, Texas to Arturo and Carmen (Sanchez) Ramirez.

He is preceded in death by his mother and his brothers, Emilio and Salvador Ramirez. Survivors include his children, Andres Ramirez and Marcos Ramirez; brother, Armando Ramirez; sister, Arna Marie Placencia; as well as numerous loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, close cousins, other loving family members and many friends.

David was a dedicated worker; he was with Sonic for 15 years currently serving as Assistant Manager. He was a fantastic cook; David adored his two boys and some of his most joyous times were with family grilling and listening to oldies music. David had a smile that could light up a room and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 from 5-7 p.m. with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary with Deacon Nick Carrillo officiating. A procession will depart Tres Hewell Mortuary on Thursday, February 17, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Santo Tomas Cemetery.
