Dawn Tanis Kremer of Seguin, TX was called home to be with our Lord on November 24, 2022 at the age of 64. She was born Dawn Tanis Wessels on May 8, 1958 in Little Rock, AR to Rosemary (Tanis) and Francis Wessels.

Dawn grew up in a military family moving multiple times throughout her life until her family settled in San Antonio, TX. Dawn graduated from Judson High School in 1976. That same year she began what was to be a 40-year career at Southwestern Bell/AT&T.

Dawn met her husband Jesse at work. They shared a love of the outdoors spending most weekends with family camping, boating, and jet skiing at surrounding lakes. Realizing their life long dream of living on the lake led them to move to the Meadow Lake Community in Seguin in the Spring of 2013.

While most people come to the lake to relax, Dawn loved the endless projects. You could always find her outside working in the yard or playing with her grandkids.

Dawn retired in the summer of 2016 from AT&T. Now began her second career of being the best Gram. She adored her grandchildren and they adored her.

In her spare time she volunteered at Navarro Elementary, Vacation Bible School at Faith Lutheran, and at the Guadalupe Regional Medical Center (GRMC) Gift Shop. She proudly gave back to the community she loved.

Dawn was recognized and loved by all for her smile and upbeat spirit, a person of faith, we know she was greeted by many loved ones in heaven and that we will see her again.

Dawn is preceded in death by her parents Francis and Rosemary Wessels.

Survivors include her loving husband, Jesus "Jesse" T. Garcia, Jr; siblings Denise Palmer & Dirk Wessels; children Malerie & James Eichenholz, Cassie & Scott McDonald; grandchildren Aubree, Addison, Sawyer, Thatcher, Finley & Ensley; numerous family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.  A memorial service celebrating Dawn's life will be held on Wednesday, November 30 2022 at 10 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church with Rev. Daniel Cave officiating. It will be livestreamed at https://www.facebook.com/FaithLutheranChurchSeguinTx. Private interment will be held at a later date.
