Dawson Ward McKinney, age 57 of Seguin, passed away on August 16, 2016. Graveside services and interment will be held on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the McKinney Family Cemetery. Dawson was born on May 27, 1959 in San Antonio, Texas to Clifford Ray and Dora May (Bogert) McKinney, who precede him in death. He is survived by his friend and former wife, Linda McKinney; sons, Michael Baker and Dylan McKinney; step-daughters, Heather Severson and Ashley Schroeder; sister, Sally Carlson; brother, Clint McKinney; nephews, Garrett McKinney, Seth McKinney, Kyle Carlson; nieces, Marlys McKinney and Jennifer Carlson; aunt, Betsy Trainor, as well as numerous other loving family members and friends.
