Dean Edward Fritz was born July 18, 1963 to Calvin Roman Joseph Fritz and Carolyn "Sue" Smith (Jones) in Fredericksburg Texas. He was called to be with our Lord December 7, 2024 at the age of 61.

He was preceded in death by his father Calvin; a still born daughter and girlfriend; Stacey Fritz.

He is survived by his mother, Sue; daughter, Kristen Statham; son, Collin Rangel; brother John (Lisa) Fritz of Lubbock; sisters Linda (Paul) Hagelgans of Fall City and Susan (Chad) Curry of Lubbock; nephews, Trase Fritz, Cole (Brittney) Fritz, Cade (Haley) Curry, Colby (Addison) Curry; niece and Goddaughter, Lauren Van Den Berghe (Jeremiah); two great nephews, Thatcher Cash Curry and Caulder Trase Fritz; other loving family members and friends.

He was a proud Opa to three grandson's, Nathan, Korbin and Declan.

Dean loved to hunt, fish, participate in the Schützenfest with Tivydale Shooting Club and a passion for barbecuing, winning several competitions. He graduated from TSTI in electronics. His employer was Redondo Manufacturing for 41 years. He loved country music and was an amazing drummer playing with several bands. One of his favorite sayings was "I'm a Jack of all trades, but a master of none"! We beg to differ. He always gave his all in everything!

A rosary will be prayed at 2:00 pm. at Hillcrest Church, 1440 Eastwood Dr., Seguin, TX 78155. Dean's celebration of life will be held Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at 3:00 pm, Hillcrest Church, 1440 Eastwood Dr., Seguin, TX 78155 with Pastor Michael Moak officiating.
