Debbie Bonorden Thompson, age 55 of Kingsbury, passed away on April 10, 2015. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m. Graveside services and interment will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Kingsbury Cemetery in Kingsbury with Rev. Andy Smith, Rev. Ron Welborn and Rev. Bill Knobles officiating. Debbie was born on July 23, 1959 in Port Lavaca, Texas to Malcolm Bonorden and Violet Hensley Bonorden Lillie. Debbie met the love of her life Loyd while working in San Antonio as an office manager in a tire center. She and Loyd moved to Kingsbury where they set up a shop of their own. When she was not working at the auto shop, she was busy volunteering at First United Methodist Church, serving as a Sunday school teacher for the 2 and 3 year olds. Debbie is preceded in death by her father, Malcolm. Survivors include her loving husband, Loyd Thompson; daughter, Kristin Malatek; son, Nick Thompson; mother, Violet Bonorden Lillie; grandchildren, Landin, Kaylee, Rylee, and Jason; numerous other loving family members and many friends.
