Deborah L. Jones, age 56 of Seguin, passed away on September 18, 2009. Memorial service celebrating Deborah's life will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. at Living Waters Worship Center with Pastor Ed Bilderback, Pastor Jim Taylor and Chaplain Jeremy Roy officiating. Private interment will be held at a later date. Deborah was born on August 4, 1953 in San Antonio, Texas to Roswell Louis and Annie Lee Victory Spear. She was a member of Mosaic Community Church. Deborah will be remembered for her love of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and her passion for fashion. She enjoyed fishing and had just taken up deer hunting. She received a kidney transplant from her younger sister, Kathy on March 31, 2005. Like everything else she did in life, she handled it with a strong faith, dignity and courage. Family and friends were everything to Deborah. Deborah is preceded in death by her infant daughter, Lemia, her parents, brothers, James Spear and Robert Spear and her brother-in-law, Billy Hunter. Survivors include her loving and devoted husband, Randy W. Jones; siblings, Julia Hunter, Gerald Spear, Kenneth Spear and Kathy Caraway and husband, Chip; mother-in-law, Dorothy L. Lovell; numerous other loving family members and a host of friends. Honorary pallbearers will be Deborah's nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly, Vicky Hunter, Deborah Hunter, James and Katie Hunter, Robert Hunter, Matthew Gavigan, Christopher Gavigan and Richard Gavigan. Memorial contributions may be given in Deborah's honor to the charity of one's choice.
