Deborah Kaye Rauschuber, age 62 of Seguin, passed away on September 15, 2016. A graveside service will be held on Monday, September 19th, 2016 at 11:30 am at the Concrete Cemetery with Rev. David Sanchez officiating.
Debbie was born on July 25, 1954 in Brownwood, Texas to Charles Benjamin and Norma (Adams) Babbitt. The family later moved to San Antonio where Debbie graduated from Lee High School. Debbie loved the outdoors. In her younger years, Debbie could always be found riding or barrel racing her horses, playing with her dog, or doing yardwork. She also had a wonderful sense of humor that always made her the life of the party. Most of all, Debbie loved her family, especially her grandbabies. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters Bobbie Bradshaw, Mary Paul, and Brenda Harvey; special nephews, Todd Plummer and Craig Ellis. Debbie is survived by her fiancée Mike Birkes; daughter Shanda Silvas and husband Tony; grandchildren Kinzie and Luke Silvas; siblings Betty Ellis and husband Joe, Martha Thompson, Shirley Treadway and husband Kenneth, Jimmy Babbitt and wife Merianne, Ronda Harrison and husband Bubba, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members. Serving as pallbearers will be Zachry Thomas, Eric Thomas, Damon Treadway, Kenneth Treadway, Donny Johnson, and Bubba Harrison.
