Delroy Froboese, age 56 of San Antonio and Marion, passed away on December 13, 2014. Delroy was born in San Antonio, Texas on July 10, 1958 to Leroy Edgar and Nelleene Evelyn (Kappelmann) Froboese. He was baptized at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bulverde in 1959 and confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church in Marion in 1972. He was a proud graduate of the Marion High School Class of 1976. Delroy proudly worked as Construction Manager for FSG in San Antonio. Delroy loved spending time with family and friends. He especially loved farming. He was a member of Shearer Hills Baptist Church in San Antonio. He is preceded in death by his former wife, Debbie Springs Froboese. Survivors include his loving wife, Teresia Pierson Froboese; children, Kristi Froboese, Reva Nunez and husband Erik, Jordan Adams and husband Gary, Jerad Pierson, Jena McFaddin and husband Preston, Reanna McCurry, and John Springs and fiancé Jennifer; grandchildren, Ashton and Hayden McCurry, and Preston and Pierson McFaddin; parents, Leroy and Nelleene Froboese; brothers, Nelson Froboese, Darrell Froboese and wife Renna, and Norwell Froboese and wife Jodie; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and many many friends. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 19, 2014 at Shearer Hills Baptist Church, 12615 San Pedro, San Antonio, Texas, 78216 at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Jeff Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park, 2951 Hwy. 46 South in New Braunfels, Texas. The celebration of Delroy's life will continue at the VFW Post 8315, 1000 F.M. 78 in Schertz Texas. Proudly serving as pallbearers will be Alan Giroux, Darrell Froboese, Norwell Froboese, Nelson Froboese, Leroy Reininger, Erlath Engelhardt, Donnie Achterberg and Erik Nunez.
