Denis Michael Mitrowski, age 70 of Seguin, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 26, 2023. Denis was born on January 3, 1953, in Buffalo, New York to John and Eileen (Gillis) Mitrowski. Denis grew up in Delevan, New York, and graduated from Pioneer High School.

He moved to Texas and started a welding repair business with his three brothers.  Denis started his own successful business several years later, building automatic tank welders.  In declining health, he retired to the family ranch in Seguin.  Denis loved cooking and enjoyed everything outdoors.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Barbara Miller, his parents, sister, Dolores Mitrowski, brother-in-law, Pat O'Brien, nephew, Michael Raney, step-son, Michael Miller, and step-daughter, Maureen Gordon.

Survivors include his siblings, Bethany Burch and husband Jim, Margie Moranski, Laurence Mitrowski, and wife Patricia, Matt Mitrowski and wife Kelli, Andrew Mitrowski and wife Cindy and Lorna O'Brien; step-children, Kathleen Self and husband Clayton, Matt Miller, Justin Miller, and wife BettyJoe; as well as several step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members, and friends.

Denis will always be remembered as the fun-loving husband, brother, uncle, and stepfather to all.  He lived life to the fullest and always had an upbeat positive attitude.  He will be missed by all his family and friends.
