Diane Gill, 77, of Georgetown, TX, passed away on February 8th, 2024 with her loving husband by her side. She was born in San Antonio, Texas, on October 9th, 1946

Diane welcomed her pride and joy, Tony in 1967. Being his mother was her ultimate accomplishment. In 1977, Diane married the love of her life, Wayne Gill. During the next decade, they moved to Atlanta, Georgia, and Kansas City, Kansas before settling in her home state of Texas in the Round Rock/Georgetown area in 1988.

Diane loved arts and crafts and had a passion for crocheting. She volunteered at Handcrafts Unlimited in Georgetown, Texas for 10 years. Diane had a passion for politics and worked in local and national elections for many years. Diane loved animals and was never without one.

Diane was the life of the party. Her smile and laugh were contagious. She was loved by everyone that met her.

Diane is preceded in death by her grandparents; her father, Bob Chadwell; and stepfather, G.V. Hastings.

Diane is survived by her husband, Wayne Gill; mother, Lottie Hastings; son, Tony Sabatino and wife Jana; stepson, Terry Gill; granddaughter, Nikki Sabatino; grandsons, Tyler Gill and Mark Gill, and numerous cousins and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel.
