Dixie Ann Hardy, age 68 of Seguin, passed away on March 29, 2009. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 2 to 5 p.m. Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Dixie was born on December 5, 1940 in Kenedy, Texas to Henry Herman and Ella E. Baer Retzloff. Her parents and her granddaughter, Brittanie Walker precede her in death. Survivors include her children, Martha Rodriguez and fiancé, Segundo Vasquez, Henry Haertner and Carolyn Herrera and her husband, Jesus; granddaughter, Kasey Haertner and fiancé David Fladung; grandson, Jeffrey Sean Walker, Jr.; great-grandson, Nickallis Fladung; numerous other loving family members.
