Domingo R. Moreno, Sr., age 84 of Seguin, finished his race on October 6, 2012 with his loving family by his side when he crossed the finish line to join our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2012 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. A procession will depart Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at 9:15 a.m. for funeral services at Living Waters Worship Center at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Ed Bilderback officiating. Interment will follow in San Geronimo Cemetery. Domingo was born on July 15, 1928 in Yorktown, Texas to Manuel and Esperanza Moreno. He married Delia Vargas Moreno on January 13, 1952. His parents and his brother, Gilbert Moreno preceded him in death. Survivors include his loving wife of sixty years, Delia Vargas Moreno; daughters, Sylvia Flores, Margaret Gibson, Irma Sosa, Esther Grimaldo, Delia Martinez, Zoila Mata and husband Rene; sons, Domingo Moreno, Jr. and wife Sandra, and Larry V. Moreno and wife Veronika; sisters, Christina Rosales, Esperanza "Hope"Flores, Enriquetta Sanchez, Amelia Alonzo, Sally Macias, Adelina Moreno, Lydia Villarreal, Gloria Ybarra; brothers, Manuel Moreno, Jr., Daniel Moreno, and Ruben Moreno; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Carlos Flores, Jr., Rey De La Garza, Nicholas Soto, Roland Guerrero, Marc Moreno, and Daniel Mata. Honorary pallbearer will be Erik Moreno.
