Donald Carl Brown, age 80 of Stockdale, passed away on May 12, 2018. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel at 10 a.m. with Rev. Ron Welborn officiating. Interment will follow in Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park. Donald was born on February 15, 1938 in Gonzales, Texas to John Earl and Bessie Augusta (Watts) Brown. He is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Vernon, Marvin, John William (Jack), Clifford, Etta Lee, Vernice, Pearl, Ola Mae, Vickie, and Louise and his former wife, Patsy Ann Watts. Survivors include his son, Danny Brown and wife Kathy; daughter, Donna Kaye Brown; granddaughter, Stephanie Brown; sister, Florene Bauer; companion and caregiver, Bessie Mae Watts; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.
