Donald Ray Brueggemann, age 75 of Seguin passed away on June 10, 2010. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 13, 2010 from 3 to 5 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 14, 2005 at 10:30 a.m. at Evangelists' Lutheran Church in Kingsbury with Pastor Duane Bamsch officiating. Interment under the auspices of the American Legion H. U. Wood Post #245 will follow in the Kingsbury Cemetery. Donald was born on April 11, 1935 in Du Quoin, Illinois to Ray and Opal Dry Brueggemann. Donald proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He was self-employed in the printing business for many years. He will be remembered as an avid fisherman and devoted family man. He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Bea Brueggemann; sons, Dale Brueggemann and wife Carrie and Scott Brueggemann and wife Rebecca; brother, Jack Brueggemann and wife Janet; grandchildren, Ben Ramos, Kellie Hernandez and husband Rick, Bradley Brueggemann and Erica Brueggemann; great-grandchildren, Heather, Brianna and Carla; several nieces and nephews.
