Donald Eugene "Don" Chamberlain, age 74 of Luling, passed away on April 20, 2025.  Don was born on August 12, 1949 in Austin, Texas to Lucile (Dorsett) and Walter Stirling Chamberlain.

He was a proud "born and raised in Austin" man, following the Burnt Orange in his days at UT, graduating with his degree in Chemical Engineering. He married his wife Betsy in 1971 and began a long career in the Oil and Gas industry. This took them on an adventure odyssey living in five countries before settling in Houston to raise their children. Upon retirement, they moved to "the farm" outside Luling to raise Red Brangus cattle. His lifelong love of hunting and the outdoors led him to a new passion working and training Labrador Retrievers which brought him great joy. It was a full and good life!

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Betsy Chamberlain; children, Douglas Chamberlain and wife Mary, Patrick Chamberlain and wife Sabrina, Thomas Chamberlain, and Meg Horton and husband Matt; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Caroline, Hannah, Ben and Jack; brother, Edward Chamberlain and wife Liz; sister in law and brother in law, Kathryn and Steve Bowen, several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

A memorial celebration will be held at the farm.
