Donald L. Gravett, age 77 of New Braunfels, formerly of Orange died on April 28, 2008. Memorial services will be conducted on Friday, May 2, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church in New Braunfels with Rev. Larry Altman and Rev. Karen Horan officiating. Don was born on July 30, 1930 in Orange, Texas to Roland and Elsie Sanders Gravett. He graduated from Lutcher Stark High School in 1948 and then served in the United States Air Force in Korea in 1952. Don retired from Sandoz Chemical Co. in 1992. He was active in Wesco Little League and was an avid bowler. He was a member of Park Avenue Methodist Church for many years teaching the Men's Sunday School Class. In 2001 he moved to New Braunfels, Texas. He later taught the Men's Sunday School Class at First United Methodist church in New Braunfels. He is preceded in death by his son Keith Gravett, parents, two brothers and a sister. Survivors include his wife Ouida Quita Gravett; daughter, Shanon Robnett and husband Nathan; son, Terrell Gravett and wife Kendy; daughter-in-law, Rayma Gravett; brother, Thomas Gravett and wife Marji; sister-in-law, Carolyn Kerrigan and husband Bob; brother-in-law, Lindley King and wife Linda; four grandchildren, Kassondra, Carla, Brendan, and Britney; six great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
