Donald Harborth, age 72, of Belmont, formerly of Nixon, passed away on November 10, 2008. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 13, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. at Maranatha Christian Fellowship in Luling, 2356 State Hwy 80, Luling, Texas. Graveside services and interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Nixon Cemetery in Nixon, Texas. Donald was born on October 28, 1936 in Gonzales, Texas to August Carl and Faye Staton Harborth. His parents precede him in death. Survivors include his wife of 52 years, June Pattillo Harborth; daughters, Carla Holmes and husband, Steve and Donna Moody and Husband, Chris; sister, Dorothy Goss and husband, Bill; grandchildren, Josh Holmes, Katie Smith and husband, Thomas; Caleb Niedehofer, Colby Niedehofer; great-grandson, Tyler Mack Smith; brother-in-law, Myles Pattillo and wife, Leta Merle; cousins-in-law, Patricia Ballard and husband, Ken and Linda Kay Nunley; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Holmes, Josh Holmes, Chris Moody, Caleb Niedehofer, Colby Niedehofer, Ken Ballard, Tray Ballard, Curtis Newman, Lester Brashears and Buddy Moak. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
