Dora Deane Dement O'Brien, age 89 of McQueeney, former long time resident of San Antonio, died September 20, 2011. Deane was preceded in death by her husband George H. O'Brien and her parents. She is survived by her brother Sam Dement, sister-in-law Colleen Dement, niece Dorothy Deane Merkelz and husband Art Merkelz. Deane was an avid charter supporter for The WWII National War Memorial. She graduated from Brackenridge High School, Droughurns Business College, and retired from Civil Service. She loved her Westies. The family appreciates the loving care provided by Mona Pantoja and Gloria Ramirez. Graveside services will be held Friday 10:00 a.m., September 23 at Mission Burial Park South.
