Dora E. Salinas McBride, age 68 of Seguin, passed away on August 5, 2012. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Tres Hewell Mortuary beginning at 5:00 p.m. followed by the recitation of the rosary at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel on Friday, August 10, 2012 at 9:30 a.m. for the mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Entombment will follow in Holy Cross Mausoleum in San Antonio, Texas. Dora was born on November 29, 1943 in Zaragosa, Coahuila Mexico to Pedro and Isidra Interial Salinas. Dora lived in Galva, Illinois before moving with her family to Seguin thirty years ago. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Richard Gene McBride and her parents. Survivors include her son, Richard Gene " Bubby" McBride, II and wife Lisa; daughters, Loretta (Cussie) Ayala and Sheila McBride; grandchildren, Joe Ceja and wife Alejandra; Christina McBride, Tony Ayala, Jake McBride, Mariah Aubrey, Richard McBride, III, Jeffrey Rowdie McBride, Mack Aubrey and A. J. Guajardo; great grandchildren, Leslie Ceja, Alexander Ceja, Victoria Ceja and Ricardo Ceja; numerous other loving family members. Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons, Joe Ceja, Tony Ayala, Mack Aubrey, Jake McBride, Richard McBride, III, Jeffrey Rowdie McBride, A. J. Guajardo and great-grandson, Alexander Ceja.
