Doris Irene Adcock, age 80 of McQueeney, passed away on January 28, 2017. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 31, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary. Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Jeremy Roy officiating. Interment to follow at Dugger Cemetery. Doris was born on December 13, 1936 in San Antonio, Texas to Sadie McCreavy Bell. She is preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Bert Bell; and sister Jo Ann Moody. Doris is survived by her loving husband, Norman "Bosco" Adcock; daughter, Mary Jo Land; son, Ashley Adcock; grandchildren, Amber Land, Travis Land, Dylan Adcock, and Alexandra Adcock; great-grandchildren, Ensley and Easton Land; brother, Mark Bell, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and many, many, friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Travis Land, Gordon Land, Mark Bell, Scooter Bell, Dylan Adcock, and Leroy Moody.
