Dorothea "Dottie" Holloman, age 79 of Seguin, passed away on April 8, 2010. Visitation will begin Saturday April 10, 2010 at 9:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church followed by the recitation of the rosary at 9:30 a.m. and the mass of Christian burial at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Msgr. Dennis Darilek officiating. Interment will follow in St. James Catholic Cemetery. Dottie was born on December 11, 1930 in Eagle Pass, Texas to Raymond and Hazel Risley Braithwaite. She was a member of the Legion of Mary. Her parents, three brothers, one sister and son-in-law, Rodney Schwarzlose preceded her in death. Survivors include her former husband, Sam Holloman; daughters, Tashya Schwarzlose – Cook and husband Richard and Twilley Young and husband Mike; sister, Tashya Gossett; grandchildren, Rodney Schwarzlose and wife Michelle, Phillip Schwarzlose and wife Cydney, Erik Young and wife Jennifer, Sam Schwarzlose and wife Lexis, Collin Young and wife Glenda,Rachel Schwarzlose, and Travis Cook; Ten great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Serving as pallbearers will be Raymond Braithwaite IV, Rodney Schwarzlose, Phillip Schwarzlose, Sam Schwarzlose, Erik Young,Collin Young and Travis Cook.
