Dorothy Ander, age 90 of Seguin, passed away on October 16, 2011. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 from 2 to 7 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary with the family receiving friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Graveside services and interment will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at San Geronimo Cemetery with Rev. Paul J. Zwarich officiating. Dorothy was born on September 8, 1921 in Houston, Texas to Ernest F. and Emma Anetta Christen Wuensche. Her husband, James J. "Jack" Ander, her parents and her sister, Wilma Hanson precede her in death. Survivors include her daughter, Annet Riley and husband Mike of Montgomery, Texas; sons, Greg Ander and wife Ruth of Seguin, Texas, and Ernie Ander and wife Laura of Katy, Texas; grandchildren, Shane Riley and wife April of Houston, Texas, Lance Riley of Houston , Texas, Aaron Ander of Houston, Texas, Jennifer Ander of Katy, Texas, Eric Ander of Katy, Texas, John Ander of Katy, Texas, Emily Ander of Katy, Texas and Terri Wells and husband Bert of Rowlett, Texas; great-grandchildren, Sydney Riley of Houston, Texas, Mikey Riley of Houston, Texas and Casey Christopher of Flint, Texas; several nieces and nephews. Her grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
