Dorothy Lucus, age 98 of McQueeney, passed away on February 25, 2012. Graveside services and interment will be held on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Guadalupe Valley Memorial Park with Mr. Chad Massie officiating. Dorothy was born on July 4, 1913 in San Antonio, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband James Lucus (USAF Ret.). Survivors include her daughters, Shirley Vande Sande and Kai Strobl; grandchildren, Chad Vande Sande, Amy Stasa, Adam Vande Sande and partner Brandy Dotson, and Sam Strobl; great-grandchildren, Justin, Scott, Riley, MaKayla, Adam, Harley and Taylor. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one's choice.
