Dudley Rodgers, age 56 of Seguin, passed away on January 15, 2013. A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013 at Faith Lutheran Church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Paul M. Cross officiating. A reception will follow in the Faith Lutheran Church Activity Center. Private enichment will be held at a later date in the Faith Lutheran Church Columbarium. Dudley was born on October 8, 1956 in Seguin, Texas to Damon and Bertha Theiss Rodgers. Dudley was a 1975 graduate of Seguin High School. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Dudley will be remembered as a gunsmith. Survivors include his parents Damon and Bertha "Tootsie" Rodgers; sisters, Gail Herbold and husband Mark and Lisa Warren and husband Johnny; daughter, Amber Jo Land; nephew, Neal Herbold and wife Courtney; niece, Lacy Herbold; aunts, Vernell Kieschnick and husband Virgil, Virginia Roberts and Nancy Rodgers; numerous other loving family members.
