E. C. (Pinky) Looff, Jr. age 84 of Marion, passed away on December 6, 2011. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church with Pastor James Witschorke officiating. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall. Private interment will take place at a later date. Pinky was born on December 27, 1926 in Marion, Texas to Elmer C., Sr. and Selma Elizabeth Krampitz Looff. He loved fishing, farming, and hunting and was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He is preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Norma (Chick) Looff, his parents and his sister, Gaynell Looff. Survivors include his children, Wayne Looff and wife Ellen, Lisa Carleton and husband David, and Jeff Looff and wife Joan; grandchildren, Whitney Looff McClean and husband Charlie, Jeff Looff, II and wife Hope, Christian Carleton, and Brett Carleton.
