Ebo, age 86, of Seguin passed away on August 25, 2017. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the American Legion H U Wood Post 245 in Seguin beginning at 5 p.m.  Ebo was born on September 3, 1930 in Seguin Texas to Gilbert Carl and Antonia (Voges) Behrendt. Ebo honorably served his country in the United States Air Force, and then in civil service, building helicopters. His service took him to California where he met and married his beloved wife, Ruth, in 1962. They returned to Texas, first to Amarillo, and then back to Seguin when Ebo retired from civil service in 1984. Ebo, however, had no intention of not working, and soon took a position with Starcke Park Golf Course, where he worked for many years. Ebo is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Behrendt; his parents; brother, Gilbert R. "Buster" Behrendt; nephew, Frank Behrendt. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Jane Behrendt; nieces, Ann Odom and husband, Randy, and Martha Krametbauer and husband, Roy; nephews, Johnny Behrendt, Edward Behrendt and wife, Michelle, Brack Behrendt, and wife, Kathy, as well as numerous great-nieces and nephews, and many friends.
