Eddie Glenn McCoskey passed away after a lengthy illness at his home in Seguin, Texas on December 14, 2011 at the age of 63. Eddie was born January 31, 1948, the son of Edward and Bonnie McCoskey in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Eddie and his brother James were raised in Upland, California. After graduation from high school, Eddie enlisted in the army. After his tour of service and his honorable discharge, Eddie returned home to Upland where he was employed in the construction industry. Eddie worked in many different locations on many different projects. While working in California Eddie met Darline McMains who later became his wife. Eddie and Darline lived in Montana for a while and then relocated to Seguin, Texas where Eddie's family lives. In Seguin, Eddie and Darline purchased a home and Eddie went to work with The Koehler Company as a finish carpenter, a job and company he really enjoyed. In his spare time Eddie enjoyed polishing and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. Eddie was preceded in death by his brother James McCoskey. He is survived by his wife, Darline, his parents, Ed and Bonnie McCoskey, his Uncle and Aunt, Bill and Alleene Stephenson and numerous cousins. Eddie is also survived by his longtime faithful canine companion, Lulu, who misses him very much. Special thanks are reserved for The Koehler Company who stood by Eddie and provided help and support during his illness and to Dr. Michael Dwyer who was so attentive to Eddie. Also thanks go to Harbour Hospice group for their support and help. A memorial service will be held at Cross Church, on Friday, December 30 at 10:30 AM with Rev. Jim Price officiating.
