Edna Mae Grimm, age 91, passed away on January 30, 2016. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 1, 2016 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Terry Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Dugger Cemetery. Edna was born on November 21, 1924 in Gonzales County, Texas to Robert Sr. and Helen (Lange) Cowey. A woman of many talents and passions, Mae loved her family and loved to take care of them whether it was cooking meals, canning vegetables from her large garden, or sewing. Mae was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt who will be truly missed. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Arno Grimm and Edgar Grimm, her parents, her siblings Robert Cowey, Jr. and wife Alma, Hilda Mondin and husband John, Hilmar Cowey Sr. and wife Evelyn, Lee Roy, Sr., Jake Cowey, James Cowey, Herman Cowey, Sr., Jessie O'Shay and husband Don. Edna is survived by her sons Arno Wayne Grimm and wife Wanda, Glen Curtis Grimm and wife Geri; grandchildren Robin Westbrook and husband Mark, Chris Grimm and wife Sandra, Brandon Grimm and wife Melissa, Katrina Garza and husband CC; step-grandchild David Crabb and husband Jack Perry; Great-grandchildren Morgan, Toby, Allie, Levi, Carl, and Jude Grimm; sisters-in-law Helen Snow and Doris Cowey. Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Grimm, Chris Grimm, Albert Cowey, James Cowey, Hilmar Cowey, Jr. and Hilmar Mondin.
