She was a role model of how to live a happy and meaningful life focused on the needs of others, sharing, caring and giving like no one else we know. She had a large party for her 90th birthday and we could see in her eyes the joy and satisfaction of sharing this special day with her family and friends. Edna loved the beauty of the outdoors. She liked to grow beautiful flowers in her yard and bountiful vegetables in her garden. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. She will always remain a part of our lives as we treasure her memory and the love she shared with all of us. The family would like to thank the wonderful caring nurses at Nesbit Living and Recovery Center and Guadalupe Regional Medical Center Hospice for their loving care of our mother. We thought she would live forever due to the strength of her will, her tenacity, her feistiness and the quality of her character. We are saddened by her passing but we look to her life as an inspiration. Edna's grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
