Edward R. Coleman, age 66 of New Braunfels, passed away on January 9, 2012. Visitation will begin Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 8:30 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in New Braunfels followed by funeral services at 9:30 a.m. with Pastor Gary Lange officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Peace Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall. Edward was born on January 10, 1945 in Galveston, Texas to Ed and Helen Baurelle Coleman. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. He was employed by the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. His parents and sister, Melba Ann Coleman preceded him in death. Survivors include his loving wife Darlene Villeneuve Coleman; daughter, Denise Lynn Parrish and husband Paul; grandson, Jeremy Parrish; brother-in-law, Charles Villeneuve and wife Pat; nieces, Renee Martinez and husband Brian, and Kristen Trost and husband Matt; other loving family members and friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Paul Parrish, Merle Sarvey, Charles Villeneuve, Jeremy Parrish, Marvin Fey, and Brian Martinez. Memorial contributions may be made to Peace Lutheran Church, 1147 S.
